We willen het water in polders, sloten en beken zoveel mogelijk vasthouden en hebben daarom het Roterend Kunststof Duikerschot (RKD) bedacht. Dit is een draaibaar, instelbaar schot dat in een duiker (met kraag aan de bovenstroomse kant) geplaatst wordt. Het RKD is lichtgewicht, niet onderhevig aan slijtage, eenvoudig te plaatsen, milieuvriendelijk, en goedkoop t.o.v. andere oplossingen. Middels het RKD kan het water worden vastgehouden, dan wel gestuurd worden afgevoerd. Hierdoor stijgt het grondwaterpeil en is er minder water nodig voor beregening.
